Global Edge Metal Contracting works inside live plant and shutdown environments where the tolerance for error is zero. Safety is a precondition of every scope we take on, not a trade-off against schedule or cost.
Our commitment
- Protect the health and safety of our people, our clients’ personnel and everyone affected by our work.
- Comply with applicable UAE legislation, client site rules and international HSE standards.
- Work to the client’s permit-to-work system, with method statements and risk assessments prepared before mobilisation.
- Prevent pollution and manage waste responsibly on every site we operate on.
- Set, review and improve HSE objectives, and give people the authority to stop unsafe work.
How we deliver it
- Competency assurance: technicians and supervisors carry current competency cards and complete site-specific induction before tools are lifted.
- Equipment integrity: a colour-coded inspection regime with per-asset registers keeps out-of-certification equipment off the deck.
- Planning: task-specific risk assessments, toolbox talks and exclusion-zone planning ahead of each activity.
- Transparent reporting: near-miss and incident reporting into the client’s HSE system, with corrective actions closed out in writing.
Responsibility
HSE is a line-management responsibility shared by every person on site. Management provides the resources, training and equipment needed to work safely, and every individual is expected — and empowered — to stop any activity they believe to be unsafe.
